The Hideout
This recreational community, a part of the Wallenpaupack Watershed (A watershed is the area of land that drains into a body of water such as a river, lake, stream or bay), has three main bodies of water which are most commonly used by residents: Roamingwood Lake (198 acres), Deerfield Lake (22 acres), and Brooks Lake (9.2 acres). A few other smaller lakes and ponds are features of The Hideout, including Ariel Creek which leads to Lake Wallenpaupack. There are many other recreational complexes within The Hideout such as a Golf course, indoor/outdoor tennis courts, a recreational sports complex, a fitness center, mini golf, an art center, ski lift and lodge, a snow tubing run, a power boat lake and more!
